I’m also a writer, producer, podcaster and ravenous culture consumer. My work has been featured in the anthology NOTES FROM THE BATHROOM LINE: HUMOR, ART, AND LOW-GRADE PANIC FROM 150 OF THE FUNNIEST WOMEN IN COMEDY, and I co-hosted the podcast TRUE ROMANCE on iHeart Radio’s Big Money Players Network.

Unlike the iconic, incomparable Kandi Burruss, I do NOT fly above all the drama, I prefer to get right in the middle of it. I mean, not literally, or physically, but psychologically. I live for a post-party rehash with friends or an in-depth analysis of a Bravo couple’s social media activity, and if you have a story about your neighbor’s nephew’s divorce? Trust me, I’m clearing my schedule and coming over with snacks.

History shows that I am not alone in my obsession with DRAMA and that it’s in fact a part of human nature. I mean, wars are drama, politics are drama, and just look at the Bible - it’s all about who’s sinning and who’s not.

4 THE DRAMA is my attempt to share my dramatic deep dives, post-spiral self-reflections, and cultural commentary with anyone else who finds themselves trying to read the lips of the couple fighting two tables over at a restaurant, or scrolling years into the tagged photos of a Trad Wife mommy blogger, looking for proof that she once had a belly button ring.
